There are some great videos on Youtube explaining all that went wrong and all the proofs that the movie was very hastily reedited to make the final mess we got. Suicide Squad (It’s hard to believe I ranked 2 movies as worse than the complete trainwreck that is Suicide Squad. Ghost Rider 2 (not that the original one what that great either)ĭaredevil (everyone except Michael Clarke Duncan was terribly miscast ! Though maybe there could be a good version of a Colin Farrell Bullseye in a very different movie)īatman & Robin (the bat card ! the bat nipples ! Terrible Schwarzenegger puns ! The most cartoonish Bane possible ! Uma Thurman !) X-Men Origins : Wolverine (the fact they finally made a Deadpool movie despite that one is close to a miracle)
The last 15 minutes of Wonder Woman (not enough to ruin the very good movie that preceded it, but the ugly cinematography, dumb sacrifice, lame villain and the usual terrible combat physics of the DCEU movie were hard to watch… there was an interesting video somewhere on youtube on why the physics on combat of flying characters often looks bad, but on that instance with 2 grounded characters it’s hard to explain why they couldn’t make it look better) I have avoided some of the notoriously worst ones (Catwoman, Elektra and Jonah Hex for instance) but here are the dishonorable mentions, some of the worst movies I have ever seen : Obviously having seen so many superhero movies, I have seen a lot of “meh” ones (most disappointing ? I guess the indie one, Super) I’m going to lie to myself and pretend Asterix isn’t some kind of super hero.ĭecided to include the Mask, but leave out 300 and Sin City.ġ| Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)Ħ| Spider-man : into the Spider-Verse (2018)Ģ6| Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)ĥ5| Some hazy memory of what seems to be a mix between 2008 Jumper and 2009 Push
The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirlįor once a poll where I’m confident I have seen most movies that would have a good change to make it, the exceptions being the early Superman and the Robocop movies. I tried to provide years in cases that I thought might need disambiguation.Ħ7.ğantastic Four: Rise of the Silver SurferĨ1.
I get nobody voting for Jeeg Robot (since it's Italian, and apparently only Americans are allowed to produce superheroes, *sarcasm out*), but no Chronicle anywhere seems bizarre to me. I'm not sure if I would like all of these if I watched them again, though. Here's something I just threw together, but it should be about right. Okay, I seriously thought the deadline was the end of August. I also excluded Turtles movies (not sure why). Joker and Ghost World (!!) are not superhero movies in anyway. V for Vendetta would have been my #2 but RYM does not count it as a superhero movie and neither do me. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) | Bob Persichetti / Peter Ramsey / Rodney Rothmanġ8. I'm not sure if I'm late but here's my list anyway (not a big fan of superhero-movies but these were worth to mention).Ĥ. I unofficially put in The Crow and Dick Tracy just to show where I would have ranked them. I decided to keep the concept of a superhero pretty narrow. I'd participate in a horror poll if that comes up.įavorite 3- or 4-film series: Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy Oh cool, I had posted this in the wrong thread.
